Round 5 TFFC Under 7 Stingrays .   Greenpoint hosted the hub at South street this week and the Stingrays played their best football of the year so far. The boys were given the task of increasing the level of team work and trying to pass the ball around more than they have before and they took this to heart and exceeded expectations with some really good passages of thoughtful passing and awareness of their team mates. This weeks player of the week was Jayden Smidt who had his usual game of determination and skill and was always on the lookout for a team mate in a better position and laying the ball off constantly Jayden was closely followed by Jim Brown who is coming on in leaps and bounds with his ball skills, once again Cameron Trotter had the opposition bamboosled with dribbling skills beyond his years and Caleb Lewis who scored his first ever goal this week, one of many, I am  sure. Jay Jones is improving with every game and had some excellent runs on the ball and increasing confidence will see him improve every week Aj Moran continues to get involved with great enthusiasm and it wont be long before he adds to his goal count and last but not least this week Flynn Wright ran hard all game and continued to provide a safe covering role at the back which has not been coached but as with all the kids in this age group they seem to naturally find a role that they excel in.
