TFFC U/7 Stringrays Another glorious autumn day this time at the palms where the boys took on the home team in their first game. Continuing on from last games great form the boys played really well with our newer team members AJ Jay and Caleb starting to combine really well with the team for some great goals and lots of exciting and entertaining play. Some really good skills where displayed today including good team work excellent dribbling skills and some desperate defensive efforts from Flynn Wright and Jayden in particular. In attack all the boys had a dig with memorable runs from AJ Jay and Jim Brown, whilst Caleb showed great determination on the ball. In our second game the Wallamba Wizards provided a more physical game than our boys have faced before which they a little time to adjust to but soon settled down to their own style of play and had a really good game. On the day there was one standout player who showed off his superior control and a really good awareness of his positioning to put the ball into the path of his team mates in attack cover in defense and score some cool goals himself and Cameron really deserved to be player of the week this week. Let's hope the season continues in this vein throughout.
