Referees

The Manning District Football Referees Association will be conducting a coaching seminar for both juniors and adults who wish to become soccer referees in the Manning Valley/Great Lakes area.

So, if you turn 14 years in 2011 and are either a current player, ex player or retired referee and would like to become a qualified referee then you are very welcome to come along and learn the referee skills and laws of soccer football.

Once qualified you can referee both junior and senior matches on Saturdays during the
season at grounds located in the Manning Valley/Great Lakes area.

Two of the areas most experienced referees will provide the tuition.

For details of the Forster/Tuncurry course contact Mr Steve Whiteman on 6554 7988, Mr Terry Yates on 6557 4857. The cost is $25.00 and includes a work book and law chart.

These courses will be the only ones held during 2011.

Small Sided Field tuition for cadet referees will be conducted via individual clubs. So if you are interested, please contact your club secretaries.
